Shipping policy
BirdStrikeWindowFilm.com / Bird Strike Window Film
At Bird Strike Window Film, we strive to provide efficient and reliable shipping services. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, tracked, and handled when delivery cannot be completed.
By placing an order through BirdStrikeWindowFilm.com, you acknowledge and agree to the Shipping Policy in effect at the time your order is placed.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days after they are placed. Processing includes preparing, cutting when applicable, packaging, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
Processing times may be longer during peak periods, holidays, periods of unusually high order volume, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
2. Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times
Available shipping methods and estimated delivery timeframes are displayed during checkout.
Delivery dates and transit times provided at checkout, in order confirmations, tracking information, or by a shipping carrier are estimates only and are not guaranteed by Bird Strike Window Film, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Actual delivery may be affected by weather, carrier operations, service interruptions, transportation delays, holidays, incorrect or incomplete addresses, delivery-access restrictions, customs or governmental actions where applicable, and other circumstances outside Bird Strike Window Film’s reasonable control.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated based on factors that may include the selected shipping service, destination, package dimensions, package weight, and characteristics of the order.
The applicable shipping charge will be displayed during checkout before payment is submitted.
Except where otherwise required by applicable law or where a shipping problem results from an error by Bird Strike Window Film, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Domestic Shipping
We ship within the United States using established carriers, including UPS, USPS, and FedEx.
The carrier and service used for an order may depend on the shipping method selected at checkout, package dimensions, destination, product characteristics, and carrier availability.
Once a shipment has been tendered to the carrier, transportation and delivery are performed by the carrier subject to its applicable operating procedures and delivery requirements.
5. International Shipping
Bird Strike Window Film currently does not offer international shipping.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once an order has shipped, tracking information will generally be provided using the email address associated with the order.
Customers are responsible for monitoring available tracking information and making reasonable arrangements to receive their shipment.
Carrier tracking information, including estimated delivery dates, delivery attempts, exceptions, holds, and delivery confirmations, is generated and maintained by the applicable carrier.
7. Shipping Issues, Delays, Damage, and Lost Shipments
If an order appears to be delayed, damaged, or lost while in transit, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at sales@birdstrikewindowfilm.com.
Bird Strike Window Film will reasonably assist in investigating the shipment with the applicable carrier.
Depending upon the circumstances, a carrier investigation or claim may be required before the matter can be resolved. Carrier investigations and claims may require additional processing time.
A carrier delay or other carrier-related delivery issue does not, by itself, constitute a fulfillment error by Bird Strike Window Film.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to a customer under applicable law.
8. Changes to This Shipping Policy
Bird Strike Window Film may update this Shipping Policy from time to time.
Unless otherwise required by law, an order will be governed by the Shipping Policy applicable to that transaction at the time the order is placed.
Changes made to this Shipping Policy after an order is placed will not retroactively alter the terms applicable to that completed transaction unless otherwise permitted by law and agreed to where required.
The current version of this Shipping Policy will be published on BirdStrikeWindowFilm.com.
9. Material Dimensions and Continuous Rolls
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the applicable product page or agreed to by Bird Strike Window Film in writing, multiple quantities or increments of the same compatible film material may be combined and supplied as one continuous roll representing the total linear footage purchased.
For example:
- Two 5-foot increments may be supplied as one continuous 10-foot roll.
- A 5-foot increment and a 10-foot increment may be supplied as one continuous 15-foot roll.
- Other compatible quantities may similarly be consolidated into a single continuous length.
This policy applies to available material widths, including 30-inch and 60-inch widths, where applicable.
Customers requiring material to be supplied as separate pieces should contact Bird Strike Window Film before placing the order to determine whether separate cuts are available and whether additional charges or restrictions apply.

11. Customer Responsibility for Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.
Customers are also responsible for making reasonable arrangements to receive their shipment, monitoring available tracking information, and responding as appropriate to carrier delivery notices, signature requests, pickup notices, address-correction requests, or other delivery instructions.
Bird Strike Window Film is not responsible for delivery failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, the customer’s failure to make reasonable arrangements to receive or retrieve the shipment, or other circumstances outside Bird Strike Window Film’s reasonable control.
12. Signature Requirements and Carrier Delivery Decisions
Certain shipments may require a signature or otherwise be subject to carrier release requirements.
Once an order has been tendered to the shipping carrier, delivery attempts, delivery scheduling, signature requirements, package-release eligibility, delivery-location determinations, and decisions concerning whether a package may safely be left unattended are subject to the carrier’s applicable policies, procedures, and discretion.
A customer’s execution of a carrier delivery notice, signature release, electronic release, delivery instruction, or similar authorization does not guarantee that the carrier will leave or release the package.
Bird Strike Window Film does not control and cannot override a carrier’s determination concerning whether a shipment may be released without the recipient being physically present.
A carrier’s refusal or inability to release a shipment despite instructions or authorization provided by the customer does not, by itself, constitute an error by Bird Strike Window Film.
13. Failed or Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts
If a carrier is unable to complete delivery because:
- the recipient is unavailable;
- a required signature cannot be obtained;
- access to the delivery location is unavailable, unsafe, or restricted;
- the recipient does not retrieve a package being held for pickup;
- the shipping address supplied with the order is incorrect or incomplete;
- the carrier determines that the shipment cannot be released or left unattended; or
- another circumstance outside Bird Strike Window Film’s reasonable control prevents delivery,
the unsuccessful delivery will not, by itself, constitute a shipping or fulfillment error by Bird Strike Window Film.
Customers should communicate directly with the carrier regarding available delivery-management options when appropriate.
Bird Strike Window Film may reasonably assist with carrier-related issues but cannot guarantee that a carrier will honor a particular delivery instruction or release request.
14. Refused, Unclaimed, Undeliverable, and Return-to-Sender Shipments
A package that is refused, unclaimed, determined to be undeliverable, or returned to Bird Strike Window Film following unsuccessful delivery attempts will be handled as returned merchandise once the package has actually been received back by Bird Strike Window Film.
A refund will not ordinarily be issued while merchandise remains in the carrier’s possession or is still in transit back to Bird Strike Window Film.
Once the returned shipment has been received, Bird Strike Window Film may inspect the merchandise and process any applicable refund in accordance with the Return & Exchanges Policy applicable to the order.
Unless the failed delivery or return resulted from an error by Bird Strike Window Film:
- original shipping charges are non-refundable;
- carrier charges actually incurred in returning the shipment to Bird Strike Window Film may be deducted from an otherwise applicable refund to the extent permitted by the applicable Return & Exchanges Policy and applicable law; and
- any applicable restocking fee, eligibility requirement, or other return condition will be determined under the Return & Exchanges Policy applicable to the transaction.
The fact that a carrier returns a shipment to Bird Strike Window Film does not automatically make otherwise non-returnable merchandise eligible for a refund.
15. Reshipment Following an Unsuccessful Delivery
If a shipment is returned to Bird Strike Window Film following unsuccessful delivery attempts and the customer requests another shipment, Bird Strike Window Film may reship eligible merchandise after the returned package has been received and processed.
Unless the original delivery failure resulted from an error by Bird Strike Window Film, the customer is responsible for the applicable cost of reshipping the order.
Any required reshipping charge must be paid before the package is shipped again.
A customer’s previous payment of the original shipping charge does not constitute payment for a subsequent shipment after merchandise has been returned to Bird Strike Window Film.
16. Cancellation Requests After Shipment
Once an order has been tendered to the carrier, a request to cancel the order does not recall or immediately cancel a shipment already in transit.
If a customer requests cancellation after shipment, Bird Strike Window Film may instruct the customer to allow the shipment to complete its delivery or return-to-sender process, depending upon the circumstances.
If the shipment is subsequently returned to Bird Strike Window Film, any refund eligibility will be determined after receipt of the returned merchandise and in accordance with the Return & Exchanges Policy applicable to the order.
A cancellation request made after shipment does not automatically entitle the customer to reimbursement of original shipping charges, return shipping charges, or other amounts that are non-refundable under the applicable policies.
17. Bird Strike Window Film Shipping or Fulfillment Errors
If a delivery failure results directly from an error by Bird Strike Window Film—for example, if Bird Strike Window Film ships an order to an address different from the valid shipping address supplied by the customer at checkout—Bird Strike Window Film will take reasonable steps to correct the error.
Where appropriate, Bird Strike Window Film will be responsible for reasonable shipping costs necessary to correct an error attributable to Bird Strike Window Film, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to eliminate or restrict responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Relationship to the Return & Exchanges Policy
This Shipping Policy should be read together with the Bird Strike Window Film Return & Exchanges Policy.
The Shipping Policy governs matters concerning processing, shipment, carrier delivery, unsuccessful delivery, and return-to-sender shipments.
The Return & Exchanges Policy governs matters including return eligibility, merchandise condition, applicable return periods, restocking fees, refund calculations, and other return requirements.
If merchandise is returned following an unsuccessful delivery, the fact that the carrier returned the merchandise does not independently create a right to a refund if the merchandise would otherwise be ineligible for return under the Return & Exchanges Policy.
19. Applicable Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to waive, restrict, or eliminate any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, restricted, or eliminated under applicable law.
If any provision of this Shipping Policy conflicts with a non-waivable requirement of applicable law, the applicable legal requirement will control to the extent of that conflict.
